What is industrial animation?
Industrial animation is engineering-accurate 3D animation that shows how equipment, systems and processes work, including internal flow, pressure and failure modes that a camera can’t capture.
We work directly with engineers, using real data, CAD and technical documentation, so every animation is accurate, credible and built to withstand technical scrutiny. Industrial teams use our work to sell faster, train more effectively and explain processes that can’t be filmed.

What we animate
Five ways engineering, sales and training teams use our work. Click any video to watch the real project.
Project: Sensia QRATE HCC2 controller launch
Product demonstration
Show how a product works before it’s built or shipped: machines assembling themselves, exploded views and mechanisms moving step by step.
Internal cutaways
Reveal what happens inside sealed equipment: transparent housings, cross-sections and valves opening and closing under load.
Project: RS Clare: frac valve greasing procedure
Project: Liquid Casing: wellbore strengthening explainer
Fluid & particle simulation
Make pressure, flow and particle behavior visible, from fluid moving through pipes to microscopic reactions in the formation.
Facility & environment
Explain large sites, construction phasing and logistics in one clear view, before anything is built.
Project: WaterWorksX: treatment facility walkthrough
Project: Metrix: internal sensor installation
Installation & maintenance
Cut support calls and training time with step-by-step procedures your field teams can follow.
Send us what you have: CAD, drawings or just a description. We come back with a scoped quote.
Why it pays back
We build your equipment once, accurately, then reuse it across sales video, still renders, VR training and interactive 3D. You pay for the model once, not for every deliverable.
Sales, trade show and explainer cuts in 4K, from 30-second loops to full technical walkthroughs.
Photoreal product and cutaway stills for brochures, data sheets and proposals.
Put crews inside the equipment for safety and procedure training without shutting a site down.
Web configurators and pixel-streamed demos your sales team can drive live.
How it works
A clear, engineer-friendly process with approval points before every costly step.
01
We confirm the audience, where the animation will be used and its length.
02
CAD (native or STEP/IGES), drawings, P&IDs, test data or existing footage.
03
Your engineers approve the motion and sequence before anything is rendered.
04
We build materials, lighting and motion, with structured review rounds.
05
4K masters plus cut-downs for web, trade show, sales and training.
Why engineering teams choose Immix
Built from real CAD, data and documentation. No guesswork, no oversimplification.
We work directly with technical teams, in the language of engineering, not marketing.
Drilling, completions, flow and production equipment for operators and OEMs.
Addy Best of Show and Houston Interactive Media Gold among five industry awards.
Pre-launch equipment stays private. We are happy to work under your NDA.
Headquartered at 1733 Parana Drive, Houston, serving clients across the US.
Industrial animation is engineering-accurate 3D animation that explains how equipment, systems and processes work. It shows internal components, flow, pressure and failure modes that are impossible or unsafe to film, and is used for sales, training, investor and engineering communication.
Whatever you have: CAD files (native or STEP/IGES), drawings, P&IDs, data sheets or photos of the equipment. If CAD isn’t available, we can model from drawings and reference images.
We build from your engineering data and review motion and sequences with your technical team at the storyboard and animatic stages, before final rendering, so the result holds up to engineer scrutiny.
Every project is quoted to scope. The main cost drivers are model complexity, length and number of scenes, render style, the number of review rounds and the formats you need. Tell us about the project and we will send a scoped quote.
Yes. We build VR safety training, interactive web 3D and pixel-streamed experiences from the same model, so the investment carries across sales, training and marketing.
Yes. We are headquartered in Houston and work with industrial clients across the United States. Reviews and approvals run remotely, with on-site visits when a project needs them.
